The chorus for this tune came to me one day while at work and I was so afraid of forgetting how it went that I called home and left it on my answering machine. It wasn't until I sat down to put together some possible material for the studio however that I was able to really give it a body (verse) and figure out what I was trying to say with it.

I can't get over how many people listen to the project and tell me how much they identify with this tune. I mean, really it's about that moment where you suddenly wake up and realize that wether you like it or not... wether you want to or not... you are "losing balance" and falling in love.

NOTE: The tasty guitar licks on here are Glen Teeple's... he totally understood what I wanted to do with this tune and took it there. Thanks Glen!

LOSING BALANCE (I THINK I'M FALLING)

Words & Music by Michael Bannerman

I don't know where I'm to begin except to say that "You were right"

"No man is an island"

I guess I'm just the kind of guy who likes to walk away instead of fighting...

Ya, what's the use in dying?

High up in my ivory tower

Safe behind my walls of stone

But...

I THINK I'M FALLING, I'M FALLING

I THINK I'M FALLING FOR YOU

I THINK I'M FALLIN, I'M FALLING

I THINK I'M FALLING FOR YOU

I guess I thought if nothing ever mattered, nothing could

So tell me what you're doing here

'Cause I don't want to want you, and I don't want to need you like I do

Ya, tell me what you're doing here

My life was fine before I met you

Now everything keeps spinning round and round

(Chorus)

Will love catch me - If I let go?

Will you catch me - I need to know?

Will your love catch me? Will your love catch me?

(Chorus)
